We have a new administration company as from Jan. The old administration company weren’t doing their jobs properly and there was quite a few problems I believe in the past. Hence why they’ve now gone. It’s all changed here since the new developer has taken over. Big cheanges here and tbh I’ve not seen any problems whilst I’ve been here. Out with the old in with the new. All positive and nothing negative to say about Mosa as long as you pay your fees there’s no problems and we get incentives for paying. Owners who have Debts & don’t pay their fees shouldn’t moan they only have themselves to blame I’m afraid.

Many thanks for your reply - my wife & I have just returned from Spain and visited Mosa. We wanted to put in an offer on a property, but we're hesitant due to the historical issues with the area.

We now have the confidence that there are going to be improvements and have started the purchase process.

Many thanks.

People who mistakenly want an entity on camposol should note these stories. I could add several myself. Charges are a racket and we dont want them ! Simples!

Hi Mick, we're thinkingof buying at Mosa, how long does it take to drive to Murcia City centre? Are you happy with your decision?

Thanks,

Tanya

Some very negative posts on hear about community fees but for balance I would highlight some positives.

Community fees share the burden of pool and garden maintenance, I get the use of a nice medium sized pool cleaned and maintained for just 300e a year, you try running your own pool and see how much it costs!

We don't have gardens to maintain but I think the cost of having nice communal gardens is well worth the money, particularly as you get older and don't want the hassle.

If you don't like the way the community is run get involved and work with others to make changes, typically people who moan about community presidents and committees are too lazy to get involved.

Communities can be a great source of support with neighbourhood problems like litter, noise and barking dogs, you can work with your neighbours to get changes. Our small community recently got the council to do some maintenance on our street, you try doing that on your own!

Community fees are well worth the money unlike the UK council tax!

I think the Spanish system of communities is excellent and it's a shame we have so few similar developments in the UK.

Communities are fine if you're happy with the arrangement but when they go wrong, and there's no guarantee that they won't in the future, they can be a disaster! You only need one awkward member on your community, and with Spanish voting system, it can be hell! I've been there, and changing administrators is not always easy.

Community pools can be a great until the rental neighbour from hell arrives for a weeks holiday! Personally I would avoid communities at all costs

Hi to all residents,

I and other family members are considering buying two 2 bedroom apartments on Mosa Golf for extended holidays (not renting out)

Some reports suggest that work on re-opening the golf course and making other improvements is already in progress.

Could any resident confirm if that is fact and also tell me if you are optimistic for the future there.

Many thanks

I’ve recently bought on Mosa in October. There’s a hell of lot of things happening here. Trust me It’s definitely worth thinking about. We have a new developer that is spending millions on the urbanisation tarting it up. New restaurants, bars, shops, hotel, 3 x 9 hole golf course which is g...

...oing to be the best in the area all being developed etc.

The new airport is literally 8 mins away I did a dry run yesterday.

I can tell you exactly how much my community fees are. Basically I have a 3 bed large front line golf villa and it costs me €200 per quarter. If you pay by DD you also get 25% off your bill. Also for those that pay their fees we also get free WiFi with A2Z for being a good payer. So it pays to pay your fees on time. If you don’t pay then the bad debtors don’t get offered the discounts or any priveleges. We also have a English committee, the main president sends out emails on a regular basis telling you what’s happening with the resort and keeps you fully updated. He has recently been voted in for the 2nd time running for a 5 year contract. Anyway if you’d like to know any further questions from someone that actually lives here please feel free to ask.

Hi Mick

We’re thinking of buying a house on Mosa and was wondering what your views are now.   Is it all still looking positive and do you know of any progress on the shops and additional facilities etc.

Thanks

Pete.
