Paying a parking fine

Does it not give an address or bank details on the ticket? Maybe the name of the town hall (Ayuntamiento). They might be able to help you. Sorry I can’t. 

Thanks but we rang them and they couldn't help. Looks like the rental car company will have to pay it and they will then charge us.

When I got ticket on my car, I paid online, details was provided on the back of  the letter, super easy. But if this is a rental car? Rental company will charge you  the admin fee and actual fine. But you need to chase the rental company not to sit too long on they hands and pay it promptly. You might need to keep an eye on your credit card statement, all charges should be deducted by rental company from there.

Thanks for the reply. We couldn't pay online as the reference number wouldn't be accepted by Caixa Bank. When we called Caixa customer service, they said they couldn't help and hung up. Hertz aren't answering their customer service number, it gives a recorded message and then cuts off so things are a bit of a pain. Just have to accept the rental car charges after they've paid it.

Spanish bureaucracy still in Medieval era.  I was struggling to pay my IBI tax- tried online, was an error, on the machine scanned the code and it won't accept my bank debit card and it's the same bank! Had to take out my credit card on the same account only then payments went through. Most online services is the joke as most of customer services.

It gave the number of the town hall who gave us the number of the police station to phone. They just told us we would have to pay it at the bank. Back to square one.
