delightful, friendly street/stray kitten deserves a home
Hi,
If anyone wants a kitten and wants to do one (kitten) a good turn, there is one where I live who is so friendly and handle-able that it would be nice to find her a good home.
I forgot to take a photo earlier, she is maybe two to four months old, a 'pepperpot' cat: black and ginger bits, one back leg/inner thigh has a patch of ginger and white stripes, beautiful green eyes, foot and paw pads are mostly black and a couple are pink, and she has a thin, ginger 'go faster' stripe running up her black nose.
She is rejected by her three siblings where she actually lives (outdoors/she's a very tame stray), bizarrely has latched onto me like it's true love (!), but I have two five-year-old cats, also females) who do not like her presence yet, sadly. She appears to mainly come for company, not food (seems unused to dry food, won't eat it with me at least, I guess it's possibly as siblings scare her away from food bowls they get so she may not be used to it, but does eat wet food if offered it) - a really/truly lovely little creature. And if I think with head not heart, I doubt that in the short- and long-term I can afford to care for three cats. I'm trying to get my two to get used to her hanging around and seeing me stroking her, and stroking all three so they get used to each other's smells and for mine to grasp that I approve of her but it's not a very pleasant experience for any of the four of us, a lot of hissing and growling goes on, really don't want nasty fights as cats are so rough/vicious with each other and stuff like that just isn't nice.
A very forward cat, she's super friendly, and presumably very curious..., she keeps trying to come in the house - that would be a cat fight disaster at present, obviously, and she's got a few ticks on her and lord knows what else so that cannot be either at present.
I like her and feel sorry for the little thing, that's why I'm asking here if anyone (serious and responsible, and likes cats, obviously) might be interested in adopting her. I am certain, and it's said with appreciation and empathy (not a criticism at all), that APROAMA must be inundated with cats and dogs and I know they are working off their feet, so it feels wrong to contact them, and they probably have no more room at the inn right now, anyway.
Heart-meltingly lovely little thing, seems lots of fun and so friendly, wins you over in under a minute.
Thanks.
