Is it possible to access Netflix in this area?

Certainly last year, I was using UK Netflix in Spain when I was there. (And other streaming services like Amazon Prime.)

However, sorry to mention it, but this is something that will be affected by Brexit. I think you will be able to sign up to Spanish Netflix with no problems but no longer access UK Netflix. (This article might shed some light.)

My Netflix & Amazon Prime accounts work just fine here in Camposol.

A good quality VPN is a good idea.

Thank you Tony. Why do I need a VPN?

If you try to access some UK TV channels via IPTV (there are apps that run on Android devicea, including Firesticks) which will do that for you, the channel may be blocked if your IP address is identified as not being a UK one.

The content on Netflix and Amazon Prime will also vary based on what IP address is presented by your system.

If you want UK content, a UK IP address is desirable.

Still find it strange that when we are in the UK and watching Amazon Prime Video the ads are in Spanish - it uses our Spanish Amazon Prime account. If we can ever go there again we shall see if it is still there.

We have UK Netflix and signed up for it by using a VPN on our tablet and using the address and postcode of a family member in the UK. Never had a problem with using it on our Spanish TV and our mobiles and tablets with or without a VPN.

Netflix & Amazon Prime are usually OK, but the content available may be limited.

A VPN will be of most benefit if one is accessing BBCi Player, All4, ITV Hub or My5 may have issues. We did before we used a VPN.
