Hola, We are moving to Puerto de Mazarron in October, I am retired, at last, and picked Pt. Maz. from a shortlist of places in the area as our favourite. We have taken a short term rental at Plays Dr la Isla as a base to start our search for a permanent home ( rental ) car and dog. We would welcome any advice and look forward to your comments.

Good luck with your search. The port area is lovely. We are up at bahia end lovely beaches. I am not sure what advice you are after but I know excellent tradesmen etc if you are ever in need as know the area well.

You mentioned you know of excellent tradespeople . Woul that by any chance include someone who could lay ceramic Floor Tiles? Seems to be a lack of them in PdM

That one not easily answered, I know Leroy Merlin sell them. It may be worth dropping a line to Isidro in the port as he has contacts with all types of businesses and tradesmen so I am sure can almost certainlt advise further.
