Hi,

There are lots of padel players in the port and courts at the tennis club is always keen to meet new members and will fix up games etc. So might be worth talking to them.

Ross.

Hello Ross, thanks for your message and that makes sense. Can you help me out here please, what clubs / courts in Pto do you refer to?

From the image I see that you refer to the tennis club near the Sunday market area. I have been there but no one able to help me out. Any suggestions where to go and whom to contact in case you know, would be great.

I'd recommend popping by again. I don't play myself but I think the coach there is called Viktor, but I'm not sure that he speaks a great deal of English.

There's definitely a group that play on Monday and go for a drink/coffee afterwards at the bar down the road - Cerveceria Mar (red bar on the corner by the health centre) I think they go in there some time around noon.

Best,

Ross

Hello Max

I have been trying to find out how to access the pádel courts near Buenavista bar. (El Alamillo) I am a beginner but keen to get better. We will be back in Spain for January so I will keep a lookout for more replies to this discussion. Fean

Hi Fran Stan, I learnt that there is an English group playing padel on buena vista padel courts each Tuesday and Friday. I will try to find out more and post here when having more info.

I know it would be a bit of a trek but, just to let you know, there is a very active padel group on Hacienda del Alamo which meets 4 times per week for social sessions and caters for beginners up, plus holds 4 tournaments per year. The group has over 80 ex-pat members with British, Spanish, Belgian, French and Dutch players. The Facebook group is: https://www.facebook.com/groups/padeltenishda

Hi Brian, thanks for your info. I checked the FB page and joined the group. The 4 times a week are fixed days and times? I suppose one has to pre-inform that and when he/she wishes to play right? Can you let me know in more detail how it works? Tx Marc
