Crissywissy is absolutely right. Use Citizens Advice Bureau Spain (all in English) for the most up to date information (if it is available.....remember Brexit has not happened yet). There is a great deal of well-meaning but dreadfully wrong information out and about. If after looking at CAB, you think they can help you....then, become a member and make a small donation (10-20€) : you will get fast personalised information. Hope this helps
