Hello,
I own a property just outside Mazzarron and am having problems with setting up a direct debit to pay IBI tax (Council Tax) can you please advice who and how I go about paying this? I am in the UK so need to set this up and send forms etc back to Spain via email. We have a Spanish bank account.
Any advice will be very much appreciated

If you have a solicitor who you retain for your Taxes then they will be able to help set this up for you.

Hi, can anyone tell me how I go about setting this up myself please? I don't think I need a solicitor to do it on my behalf, I just need to know where to go to register/set it up by direct debit from my Spanish bank account (Banco Santander)

We've just paid our IBI - our solicitor sent us the IBI as it was in previous owner name.
You go to the bank to pay the IBI (by 22nd Oct 19), ask for form to give to tax office (round the corner from Banco Sabadell in Mazzaron). Go to the tax office and ask to set up automatic payment - you will need your NIE number with you as well.
When you enter tax office - there is a machine to get a ticket for queuing - you need a ticket to be seen.
