Hi

I need a English speaking accountant for my tax return, I am unable to do it myself because of the complexity, so if anyone could recommend someone in the area of Totana/Mazzaron, many thanks

One major problem with getting recommendations for gestors/accountants is that the recommender is unlikely to know that what they are happy with is correct.

I have seen several "X are brilliant" comments about firms that were less than competent. I thought about getting a firm to do our taxes when we moved here from Andalucia, but all the ones I checked out were happy to make a return that would cost me ten times what it should, or blissfully willing to not declare some of our income, saying it did not need to be declared, as the inevitable fines for making a false declaration were my responsibility rather than the gestor.

Unless your affairs are complex - for example having properties outside Spain that are rented, or income from a business - do it yourself with the help of the Agencia Tributaria, who will go through everything for nothing.
