Hola. I am wondering if anyone can tell us what tax we are likely to pay on our pensions as residents in Spain. We will have pensions of 13000 each. No other income. So far I believe the tax free allowance is 5500? Done some research but still confused. Any advice appreciated.

Thank you

There are certain pensions (UK Government type - Military, maybe Police too) and certain NHS type (not all) where the U.K. Government takes the tax at source.  Spain has a Double Taxation Agreement with the U.K.  It is form P85 to inform the Gov UK HMRC about your personal situation.  Gov UK does the Gateway (personal security) and you can view your situation personal to yourself.

The Spanish Tax Year is 1 Jan to 31 December.
