Where can we buy near to Roda in an urbanisation

Hello everyone, we are new to the forum, so we wanted to come on today to say hello đź‘‹ 

We presently live in the highlands of Scotland, yet are looking for possible areas to rent long term, with a view to moving to Spain permanently next year 

having just planned a trip to Roda Golf this September, we hope to visit areas around the Murcia region / preferably along that coast 


It has always been our long term plan to move to Spain, but after many changes during lockdown, we have decided to take our plan forward five years 


our question to the group is ~ 

can you offer possible residential / urbanisation / villages / areas to stay / live along the Murcia regions from Alicante down to as far as Port Mazzaron or Los Alcázares 

We hope to view / visit new areas while we are staying at Roda Golf in September 

We know the area of Murcia quite well after having stayed at campasol, la tore, port mazzaron ~ bolneuavo, and we have visited as far down as los Alcázares but never stayed there hence why we have chose Roda this time 

we loved the house styles at campasol, yet we don’t feel this is to be our area… as we will need more to do day to day 

Paul is a keen golfer 🏌️‍♂️ hence why we picked Roda and we are both beach / nature lovers 🌲

There are lots of nice areas, so it would be helpful to understand your needs a little better.

For example, 

- villa, flat, or townhouse ?

- if villa, minimum plot size ?

- Spanish or international area ?

- in built-up town, or in an area with a bit more space ?

- close to the coast, or 20 minutes away, or further ?

- close to amenities ?

- will you keep a car ?

- do you want to be on a managed urbanisation (e.g. in a condo) or in an individual property ?

- etc., etc.

We live here    Moving to Pinar. Is it as good as everyone says.

... although we are temporarily on the Costa Calida while our home is renovated.

Hi there

I've just seen your post. I have a 2 bedroomed house in Los Narejos but just let for 3 months. It is actually for Sale but I would consider a long term let. It is currently with an agent who is a friend of a friend of mine so could forward details. It is in a quiet area but just 10 mins from the beach and main square. It has a terrace and secure garden and the long term rental is £495 a month inc utilities. It is on the market for €60,000 i have just reduced it. Hi its me again.......sorry I forgot to say its 5 mins from the Rhoda Golf and there are many other golf courses around aswell. The La Manga Mar Manor is just opposite the lagoon so about 15 mins away aswell.
