I was hoping to get some advice or learn from anyone’s experience/advice from anyone who has bought a totally vacant property on Roda. What did you do for furniture? Did you go to IKEA or get a large delivery from them. I heard that deliveries can be hit and miss but we literately wouldn’t  have anything to sleep on if it didn’t turn up. Are there local furniture shops that are well priced that can deliver? Basically,  I’d love to hear anyone’s experience or how they tackled this.
many thanks

Damien

Hi Damian

If you are an IKEA “friend” the shop is in Murcia.

https://www.ikea.com/es/es/stores/murcia/

I found this link if you cannot go there:

We have very good experience with the “furniture store” >it’s the name of the shop<  in Torre Pacheco.

“Fred the bed” is more than helpful.

Here the link: https://www.thefurniturestore.eu/Contact-information

A good solution of 2nd hand furniture is time4achange in Los Alcazares or El Algar.

http://www.atime4achange.com

Because of the current situation (what is your time scale?) what is “nearest” to you..(it could be change when you need it in 2-3 weeks time)

Keep in mind: the businesses can travel to you but you are stuck to your “town”

PS: the staff at IKEA speak English, the furniture store & atime4achange are English owners……

you have to go past main entrance to get to Aldi and Lidl and its a bit of a walk....there is a well stocked supermarket in Roda Village opposite the church ..Lilys.
