Hi all, I’m hoping you local guys can give me a bit of information. My wife and I are looking at buying on phase 3 on Roda but wondered if there is a short cut to get to the main entrance? We absolutely love Roda but we last stayed on Roda onphase 3, 5 years ago and I recall it was a long walk to get to the main entrance. Is this still the case or have any additional routes been put in place to leave the resort? Would really appreciate any comments on this, thanks in advance!

Hi Damien, Sorry not any easier to reach the main entrance unfortunately. Have you considered Senoria de Roda instead as there are now bars, small supermarket, restaurants etc and only over the road from Roda Golf main entrance.

Morning, Thanks so much for your reply. Actually we hadn't considered Senoria de Roda but will definitely take a look, if there are bars and restaurants etc. I hadn't considered it but will definitely try an do a bit of research! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Morning Damien.

There is still no short cut to main entrance/ Clubhouse, yes it is a fair walk.

There are pluses and minuses with everything.

The plus side is in the height of Summer phase 3 area is a lot quieter during day and evening, so a lot more chilled out area. The properties as you know are also spaced out a lot better than say phase 1.

Hiring of cars isn’t expensive of which you could park up in phase 1 area, taxis aren’t expensive either, although you do have to wait in summer season.

Get a few taxi numbers in your phone for back up.

We purchased in phase three 6 years ago and still love it. You also have Security for piece of mind.

Resortalia (The administration company) are brilliant.

Also bear in mind, security can control noisy neighbours turn your water and gas off in winter months at main isolation points etc.

Hope that answers your question

Any further info give the forum a shout.

Morning, again thanks very much for sharing your thoughts. We do love Roda and have stayed a few times and in all honesty would likely hire a car when we were holidaying so wouldn't be too much of an issue. I agree, there is always a plus side of it not being too busy during the summer months, which again is something I hadn't really considered. This forum is turning out to be superb!! Thanks for sharing
