Can anyone let me know what it’s like owning in Roda village. It looks like a lovely little village but really want to know what people who own or live there think. As soon as covid restrictions have eased for us all, we’ll be looking to buy a holiday home & the location looks great but don’t know enough about the village. Honest opinion will be greatly appreciated. Would love to know about the demographics, Irish bar and couple of restaurants, is it a family friendly place etc. Any thoughts, good and bad would be a massive help, many thanks

Not a big selection of bars...an Indian which appears to have been closed, two others with a bit of outside space, a community centre with a bar and cheap food and 5 a side pitch and a small supermarket. You really need a car to get around its a looong walk into Los Alcazares and further to the beach but doable if you're fit!

Lots of expats both residential and holiday owners and good friendly community.

Not sure when things are going to start to get back to normal but all borders closed at the moment!

We bought a property in Roda Village in 2019 and really love it there, Roda Bar is great value and there's even an Irish Pub which is really friendly. Its a good walk into Los Alcazares but we bought a couple of bikes last year and that works out really well. Great location as well if your play golf as you can walk to the course, the clubhouse food is also very good.
