I was booked to leave Spain on 21st April 2021 from Murcia Airport.

As we are NOW NOT going to apply for a TIE (as far too expensive with health care cover) as 3 months maximum per year will be fine.

We do not wish to get in trouble/banned/fined for staying too long this time.

If you count from 1st January 2021 then we should leave probably by 31st March 2021 (not our original planned stay till 21/04/21)

Does anyone know of anyone else got the same dilemma??

Any help would be great

Thank you

Whether they stamp them or not your details will be in the system if you over stay 90 days. If you don't over stay there is no need to worry.

The only way your details will be in the system is if they actually scan your passport.

Many times they just glance at your passport & wave you through.

Even at the automatic gates if your passport does not scan they just wave you through.

Will they stamp your passport ??

Probably not but who knows with the Spanish !!

Details will be in the system when you check in whether it be online or at the check in desk as your passport details will then be entered.

The minute you book your flight ferry train or whatever your details are entered into the "system" and always have been since being computerised.

As for "The Spanish!!" they have been very relaxed in the past as have many European Countries with checking the period of stay within a Schengen country, I am sure the procedure will now change as the UK has officialy left the EU.

This was PRE Brexit.    Who knows what will happen now.    just stick to the rules.
