We have just purchased an apartment in San Cayetana, as we don't really want the hassle of keep renting cars, could anyone tell us if we can get to San Javier by bus?? Thanks

Yes, you can, buses aren't that frequent. Get the movibus app and you can see the route. The timetable is also in the bus stop in the village. Its the green bus that passes through. It goes to san pedro del pinatar and stops in san javier.

Found the route on my phone. Here you go. Public transport isn't the greatest here so buying a car usually works out cheaper in the long run than hiring.

Better to buy a car and airport parking it’ll be cheaper and definitely more reliable! Looks CarsinSpain website

Thank you. That certainly looks like a good option.
