Living in San Cayetano
Anyone here live in San Cayetano? Looking to relocate, I am after a village home, all the basic amenities and with a mix of nationalities and a friendly community vibe.

That's pretty much what you will get. It's a nice little village with a good mix of nationalities and all the basic amenities you need. We have 4 bars, a restaurant, pharmacy, doctors, hardware store, tobacconist, hairdresser, beauty salon, bakery, supermarket, and a little shop.
There are padel courts and a municipal swimming pool open in July and August and some of the houses and communities have their own pools also.
It is 10 mins in the car to the mar menor beaches and coastal towns that are a bit busier and 15 to 20 mins to the med beaches in the car. But you do really need a car to live here. We have a bus that goes to san pedro del pinatar and torre pacheco a couple of times a day, but that's it. Some people do manage without a car but life is a lot easier if you drive, something you need to consider.
