Not sure if everyone is aware of the Los Infiernos Animal Shelter https://www.facebook.com/Los-Infiernos-Perrera-Supporters-…/ ... I found out about it through pure luck. They need volunteer dog walkers on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays between 9am - 1pm. You don't have to make a commitment, you can just show up when you can. I just started and it's great to give these special dogs some attention. If you are unable to walk the dogs they are also always looking for dog leads, collars, beds, food bowls, blankets, old sheets, towels, food etc and of course donations are invaluable... If you have supplies but can't get to the shelter we may have someone living close by who can pick them up, just message the facebook page :D ...If you know of anyone wanting to adopt a dog or cat please point them to the shelter. Rescue pets are always the best #forevergrateful

Can anyone tell me how I can be regularly informed of these people's events please? I belong to the supporters group, but can never seem to find info on their Facebook page, other than availability of animals for adoption. I'm finding it so frustrating.

Hi Amelia, I don't live in Spain anymore but when I did I volunteered at this animal shelter for over a year. The Los Infiernos Perrera Supporters Facebook page is where they advertise any fundraising activities. These are not held often because we are always short of people to run them. There is a handful of regular volunteers who try and get all the 200 plus dogs out on walks every Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. The Spanish families come in to walk the dogs on Saturday mornings but this is open to everyone also. Other than the handful of regulars walking they also help clean and feed all the dogs as well as trying to find homes, vet visits and organise transport for dogs being adopted in the UK. Hello Amelia

I know of a really lovely lady called Leigh who is not just a dog walker but raises funds for the charity by attending many events. I am sure if you contact her and ask for information she will gladly help with future event info etc.

As you know they are a wonderful charity and the more people know of them the more badly needed funds they will get.

Woef woef,hello everybody, I have news about my new home....my new family is increddible....the love me,whe gone walk everyday ,I love them some much now,my food is wauw here.,I going in the shower woef woef....ooooh,feel so good here ,thank you los infiernos that you let me go whit then....i'am so happy here....see you on the net post....good evening everybody........
