Hi all hopeing to san javier in the new year, just want a rough idea of what the cost per month is to live there nothing to fancy will have no rent or mortage so just the essentials to pay, i think i will have maby 1800 euro a month coming in for a couple will that be enough to oay the bills and still get out and relax a few times, thanks for any help, john

If you hold UK passports, and wish to retire here, you will need non-lucrative visa. You will need to demonstrate an annual income of around Eu 28k for a single person and Eu 34k for a couple. You will also need healthcare.
Post-Brexit, this issue is not about what things cost; the issue is about demonstrating qualifying income.

Hi yes you should have enough,but you might have to pay income tax on income,at the rate you change your money,if it's a pension from another country.
