Hi does anyone of a company that provides home emergency cover. In the UK companies like brtish gas over a home care plan. This covers you for things like plumbing and electrical faults ect... I would be glad of any advice.
Iberdrola offer these types of cover - and the rates are much lower than in the UK.

In Spain most good insurance companies offer emergency services with their home policies and normally the first 3 hours are free.
Maybe this is another alternative for you?

Yes I think you maybe right. I have studio. I wanted to insure for contents, flooding, plumbing ect.. I do not been buildings insurrance as I think this will already be covered by the community charges. Can you recommend a good insurance company. Thank you.

Hi I use Linia Directa for all of my insurance needs.
I am now an apartment but take out building cover as well as the community cover.
If for instance you drop something on your bathroom sink or loo, broke a window had door lock problems etc the community insurance would not cover this.
