we used to have a holiday home on Camping San Javier but for us it wasnt where we wanted a permanent home. There is a great community there who look after each other ...many are elderly expats who have lived there full time for many years.
There is no shop as such on site, a coffee/bar is open all year and a hall for community events that does food too. The place is quiet in the winter months but extremely busy in summer with loads of Spanish families with children who spend their summer there. You really need a car to get around...there is a small supermarket 5 minutes walk away but its a good walk into San .javier and not walking distance to any of the large supermarkets or the beach....hope this helps.
