I'm driving from San Javier to Alicante airport. Are there any tolls, and how much ?

Do they operate 24 hours?

Thanks.

There are just 2 toll stations: "in" (just befor the Exit to La Zenia)  to Torreveja and out. Each should be at this moment around € 2,00....

Hey Tom, two toll booths on the AP7 between San Javier/Alicante think it's about €3. each toll. Not sure about 24 hours. You should consider the N332 route San Javier to Alicante toll free, approximately 50 minutes travel time. Very well signed and easier on the juice.

Safe journey.

Gaxx.

Driving on the autovia should give you faster travel time, less risks, better economy (if you don't floor the throttle!) and the costs are insignificant.

I am constantly amazed at how many people seem worried about things costing little more than a cup of coffee - are they really on the breadline?

Totally agree, simple route is Ap7 for an extra few euros about €2.85 in winter per toll.

No roundabouts no traffic lights less stress on car  less time etc

And little to no traffic on the toll roads as the Spanish will not use them because they have to pay.

Which makes the non-payage routes even more dangerous.

Last time I passed the toll board it was around Euro 4 for each.
