Hi, can anyone let me know where we can go locally to get Spanish lessons (ideally free!!). We are based in San Javier but will happily drive.

Try "Spanish with Paul" on YouTube. All free and you don't need to drive anywhere. Start with mini courses 1 to 10 to see if it's for you. I enjoyed learning this way so much that I have gone on to buy his full course which is excellent.

James Spanish School in Pilar de Horadada is better than any free school. (you get what you pay for)
James has been running his classes for more than 20 years.
His lessons are hilarious, however, he is serious about you advancing. its a lesson a week, only consider his classes if you are prepared to work on your Spanish.
You will have to study, If you don't pass the exams you have to repeat the year.
Cost €6 per week. Ring him on 649 33 36 23

Hi Kalli,
Glad to see that you have bought his full course. I did the same as you, and I agree it is very, very good.
A word of caution, you only RENT it for a year, you don't own it. I got caught out on this, and did not finish the course.
My fault entirely, I should have read the small print.
If you did know this, then I apologize for sending this reply.
Regards
Bob.
Hi Bob,
Thanks for that. Yes I did know I need to get it done in a year or pay more, quite a good inducement to finish it! I'm in the middle of level 3, but I've got a bit sidetracked the last few weeks so I need to get back to it.
How are you doing? Have you completed it yet?

Our friends who live near you arranged cheap 1€ per 1.5hr lesson through town hall in Los Alcázares.
