Has anyone heard of how/when a certificate will be available for use on say a mobile phone and be printable to show as confirmation of having had both vaccine jabs?

The EU is pushing for this and the UK government (broadly) agrees. It looks like it will be at least a month away...

OK thanks, just wondering if anyone who has had the two vaccines was given anything printed out to prove it?

I live in Scotland - although literally moving permanently to Spain in two weeks time (Hurray!) and we don't get anything here. However, I know that in England people are given a card with the date and the type of vaccination on it.

I believe that the UK plan is to update the centrally held information into the NHS app and that's where this would be held and displayed.

In England you get a card with the vaccines and dates written on it. If you have the NHS app your personal account has details of the jabs in it which could be shown if required.

Hi thanks but I am in Spain (Murcia) and have been on the Spanish health system for many years so NHS will be of no use to me, but thanks for your comments anyway.  Will see what is offered to me (if anything) when I go for my second jab in a couple of weeks as I know how difficult it can be to try to get paperwork "after the event" as we all know how bureaucratic it can be here 😜😂

Are those not getting certificates being vaccinated at mass venues? Our neighbours went to docs and got their certs after their 2nd jab. They just asked for it

Don’t know as I would have thought that the vast majority are going to the mass vaccination centres as I did so just thought I would ask before my second one to see what the situation was.  I have been informed that in Ireland (south) that after your jab you are given a card with your name on it and also has the sticky label from the jab but then they have 3 months between jabs!! At least in Spain we are having 3 weeks between jabs.
