Hi can anyone advise on how I get my eyes checked for cataracts. I asked my clinic doc and she said I should go to an optica first and they we would advise me to go to the hospital ! due to a problem I didn't have my translator with me at the time

If you get a free eye test the optician will normally tell you if there is a problem, but your GP or nurse will need to do the referral.
