Hi,

We have just arrived this week for a 3month stay and are new to this area, last year we were in Campoamor with a big choice for places to eat out, what with La Fuenta and villamartin plaza. Can anyone recommend nice restaurants in San Javier or nearby.

Also if anyone is looking for the occasion golf partner please get in touch

Thanks.

Neil

Hello NEIL

Getting to know the area ourselves.  We were shown the area Pueblo Latino up by Pilar de Horadada (few Kms away from where you exactly are; it may be a little seasonal up that way still and with just 3 month stay it may not be too lively).  Maybe look on Trip Advisor.  Understand Cartagena and Murcia there are nice eateries but that involves some travelling and of course just not a 10 minute walk away.

Good Luck and enjoy your stay.

Marga

Thanks Marga for the reply,

Did a bit of exploring by car in the wintery weather yesterday and found we are actually staying in Santiago del Ribera and got our bearings finding three decent supermarkets, a nice looking Pizza place and a grill restaurent, but will what till the weather turns before venturing out in the evening.

All the best

Neil

Hi

Can we suggest a few in the Lo Pagan/San Pedro del Pinatar area, take a look on Tripadvisor for further comments :

El Rubio 360 - excellent fish & meat, wicked views

Venezuela - excellent fish & meat

Fresco & D`Lounge - both on the front, nice snacks through the day

Crazy Duck (Pato Loco) Chinese restaurant....a decent sit down Chinese, beats the buffet stuff hands down !!!

Enjoy and let us know what you think...

Anthony & Katherine

Thanks Anthony and Katherine,

Lo Pagan in about a mile from where we are staying and we found the Venezuela and a Portuguese one too, will check then out in the next few weeks and let you know how they are. Couldn't find El Rubio 360 and google map didn't know where it was either. It must be a chain as they are in Seville and Madrid.

Thanks again

Neil

Hi Neil

Once you walk the Promenade you will soon see El Rubio, it is just beyond Fresco & D Lounge. I have highlighted it on the map below.

It takes us a nice 10 minute stroll and we tend to take a small drink in a number of the bars in the area too, we particularly like Triskel in the High St, not far from Venezuela.

Enjoy finding places you like and let us know your thoughts.

Anthony
