Need some converters for headlights (lhd car) to fit during trip to uk. Is there a shop selling these locally, save me ordering from Amazon?

That’s what worries me about ordering on Amazon - they are all unclear! I think I remember a post about a shop near the Repsol garage in San Javier, hence the question.

You can probably find out online as I feel pretty sure the stick on pads are probably the same for all needs it is just where to apply them that changes. I could get you some from Halfords if you find they can be utilsed. Coming out on Thursday next and live in Sucina.

Yes, there's a car spares shop next to the Repsol garage in San Javier. To the left as you face it.

Great spares shop but reactions from all four of the staff varied from "never heard of them" to "they are illegal" with the summary result that they do not have them. Do Spanish drivers never travel to the uk with a car, or do they just happily ignore the law (unusually ahem) and happily dazzle drivers.
One snag with the kits is that the adhesive takes a couple of hours to set before it is not affected by headlamp washers or indeed that rare thing in the UK - rain, so a bit tricky to fit them on the ferry anyway.

Just had it confirmed by someone who travelled last week that they are sold on the ferry as Sucina Explorer thought - both for lhd and rhd.

Ok, I thought the ferry would be best source. My experience is that they stick really well and probably would survive a rain shower but perhaps not headlamp washers. Turn the headlamp washers off and hope it isn't raining or nightime when you arrive. You won't be able to fit them on the ferry without negotiating access to the loading area during the trip, that would be difficult.
Perhaps if you arrive early and get loaded, go to the shop, which will hopefully be open, buy the things and go back to the car and stick them on before they close the car decks.
