I have come accross the Giatsu model. Can anyone recommend this model please?  I am keen to hear reviews,  naturally I am drawn to the big names like Panasonic and Mutsibishi.

Many thanks

Lorraine

Before we replaced the aircon in our house we came across this make. Having Googled it and read opinions we opted for LG....

Hi lorraine those look expensive to me for unbranded aircon,as a airconditioning engineer heres some advice, dont buy panasonic/mitsubishi/daikin etc if an outdoor fan motor or compressor inverter pcb fails when out of warranty you are looking at paying more for those parts than a complete new unbranded system! just go to one of the big outlet stores like alcampo and buy an unbranded system for something like a bedroom your looking at about 258 euros plus fitting which is about 200.cheers brian

Lived here in Spain 14 years, never had a problem with Mitsubishi, maybe been lucky but i'd go for that brand all day

Thankyou Brian. I appreciate your reply.  I actually never thought about buying and then getting them fitted.  I will look into it.  I have been quoted 1400 euros for two units installed.

The Giatsu air conditioner is a fairly good and reliable air conditioner. I use it myself for a long time. There were of course small problems with the service. The most important thing is to find a reliable company that will carry out prevention and maintenance. I have been looking for competent specialists for quite a long time who are able to quickly and efficiently perform work on the repair and preventive maintenance of the air conditioner. A neighbor advised me an excellent master who is able to perform all types of preventive work.
