Tax Office payment

Change your solicitor, is incorrect. 

Is not necessarily to pay your DD by Spanish bank. 

There a lots of non-residents in Spain paying their DD with foreign bank, wise etc.

Search in this forum for wise DD and you will find a lot of information. 

I know Roland has spoke a lot about this and he is got all his DD with wise.

Total rubbish & just another example of the Spanish protecting their own industries.

Lots of people on this forum use Wise.com or other non Spanish banks to pay their tax.

I have been paying mine using Wise for several years now.

Take your solicitor to task over this totally incorrect information.

Thank you both for this, I thought it couldn’t be correct! Do either of you know how to contact the tax office direct so I can change the DD? We might be over next week so could go to an office if we need to?

If you can go to their office in person, is the best thing to solve the problem. 

An other alternative is to register online with them for an account and use their platform on your own account to change the DD. 

This is the easiest way to solve the problem. 

This is how I solve mines,online. 

My water and electricity are on DD with my bank. 

My IBI, I use my banking app to pay every  year. 

They email me the bills every year, I scan the barcode on the bill using mobile banking and the payment goes through instantly. 

I don't have a DD for my IBI.

I have successfully opened Wise Account I have been in touch with most Companies to change Account details for Direct Debit.I have only had confirmation from Wise Iberdrola been set up but had confirmation from others can take 30 days.My Solictor advised I would have to contact them and pay by transfer for my Non residents Tax as cannot accept DDR through Wise.What I would like help with is how can you pay and Calculate your own non residents Tax instead of through Solictor.My Solictor is charging €130. I am sure they are taken this 3 or 4 times year.Spoke to someone just this week on my visit they advised they pay Annual €70 and do it all themselves.

Hi, I can recommend Angar Taxation Services in Torrevieja to do your non resident tax as I have for 5+years and they only charge 20€ per owner, incl paying it for you. Google them. Many use them. nonresidenttaxes.com

I will have a look trying to save on additional costs off Bank Sabadell so I can close that once I am 100% the Direct Debits are set up on Wise Account.Some Companies have sent Email Confirming it's been done but not showing as yet edp total Energies wouldnt as done it over phone.But the Non residents Tax was my next Mission especially when someone said they pay €70 euros annually.

Hi Anni thanks I have been in Contact with them just need to Contact the Murcia office for copy of IBI for next year then forward NIE,Passport details.Paul has given me Office Telephone numbers & times they are open.Just hoping I can get in touch with them by phone from UK as had difficulty ringing Utility Companies to sort Direct Debits what I couldnt do Online had to ring last week when I was over Spain.
