current ‘lockdown’ was 15 days from 14/3 so hopefully back to normal by then but things are changing all the time. Keep watch on the Spanish media

Thank you for taking the time to respond, I guess it’s just a case of ‘watch this space’ 🤔

Everywhere on lockdown, don't think they are allowing any travel to or from Spain. Probably safer no to risk flying anyway. We are in lockdown in San Cayetano, at least we have some sun.

The national lockdown started at 8am on 16/3 with an option to extend if they feel it necessary; that takes us to around 28/29th March. We are due to fly home on 8th April, but are concerned now that we will be placed in quarantine in the UK and perhaps Spain will do the same with people coming in......as you say....watch this space.......

As our Santander ferry was cancelled and no available replacement, we decided to drive back thru France before all Europe closes it's boarders. Got as far as Bordeaux today and on to Eurotunnel tomorrow. Only saw 2 cop cars at French boarder otherwise very straightforward. This situation will most likely not last much longer.

This situation i.e. 2 cop cars and straightforward journey or the response to the Coronavirus won’t last long?

The E.U. closed the borders yesterday for people not living in the Schengen zone and this for a period of 30 days. So I suppose you won't be allowed to get in.
