Good Morning, I'm needing more advise as I know spain are tightening their entry rules for people travelling into Spain.  I need some clarity, both myself and my husband have been double vaccinated and also had covid so I know we are fine to entre.  We have an 11 year old son and I know he is fine to enter without having to have a PCR.  It's regarding my 14 year old, what are the entry rules?  Do we need to get an antigen test in the UK 48 prior to departure?  I know we need to complete the travellers locator form.

I'm just needing clarity on entry rules for a 14 year old child.

Thank you

You will have to have proof of your vaccinations and the new rules state ALL ARRIVALS should have the following, so I asume both your 11y and 14yr old will also have to have negitive teasts.

Entry rules in response to coronavirus (COVID-19)Entry to Spain

From 2 July, the Spanish government requires all arrivals to Spain from the UK to present on entry one of the following: a negative COVID-19 test; or proof of vaccination. See Testing and vaccination requirements for arrivals from the UK for details.

Further requirements and entry restrictions may also apply if:

All passengers entering Spain are still required to complete a pre-travel declaration form. See Arrival by air or sea

Further requirements and entry restrictions may also apply if:

You have travelled to a ‘risk country’ within 14 days prior to arrival in Spain. See Testing and vaccination requirements if travelling from a ‘risk country’You are travelling from mainland Spain to the Balearic or Canary Islands, or you are staying in tourist accommodation in the Canary Islands. See Travel to the Balearic and Canary IslandsYou are travelling overland (by road or rail) from France. See Overland travel and transit

All passengers entering Spain are still required to complete a pre-travel declaration form. See Arrival by air or sea

Thank you so much for the above information as I had read could enter with an antigen test and had booked my 14yr old in for one 48 hours prior, will change it to a registered one now.

Thank you for confirming I only need to get a negative for the 14yr old and not the 11yr old.
