I would be interested to know whether any residents of San Pedro del Pinatar aged between 70 - 75, have received their Covid jab yet and if so, did they receive an SMS or a phone call? I've had a couple of missed calls from a 13 digit mobile number that doesn't allow calls back to it and wondered if this could be the vaccination organisers.

San Pedro 70 - 75 year old residents were vaccinated last week. My husband being one of them. They phoned him up with the appointment. The vaccination centre is closed this week, but open again next week for my age group 65 - 70’s. There is a phone number you can ring if you’ve missed your slot, unfortunately I can’t remember where I saw it. I’ll get back to you if it pops into my head.

Got the number through a friend with a better memory than me. 900 12 12 12. Be patient, I’m told it’s very busy and don’t be put off by the recorded message, the number is also for previous decliners who have changed their mind. Good luck. Hope you get your jab soon.

Thanks. I've just called them and asked them for a call-back. It's the "Coronavirus Covid-19 Protocol" number and it's also the number to call for people who may have Covid-19 symptoms.

Is it. That’s a handy number then. Hope you get sorted.

Hello I heard through face book about two weeks ago that they were vaccinating over 70s in San Xavier,so I just went and they did my first jab there and then on proof of eligibility.

I am 71.

They have given me a date to do the second jab on 17th May at the same place,so if you haven’t heard from them just turn up.

I have to say that I never received a call or text message at all and still haven

Thanks for that information. Whereabouts in San Javier was your vaccination done? I rang 900121212 yesterday and was told that there were going to be some vaccinations done on Sunday (tomorrow) for 70 year olds but she couldn't tell me where. Just that I would be called and that they were hoping to get all the 70 - 75 years olds finished soon. It was all just very vague to be honest - sort of "we know what we need to do but we're not quite sure how to go about it" sort of vagueness!

If you go from Dos Mares and pass Decathlon on your right then at the next roundabout ( cash supermarket )turn left and then after passing all the buildings on the left you will see a big white marquee and that’s it.

If there is no one there try the back of the medical centre in SanPedro opposite the side of the famacia.

Good luck.
