Taxing car online - Page 2

Did ours today, all online. Followed link to get copy of bill and download it, then followed the first link in the text bottom right of that (forma de pago - method of payment) to go to payment. Just needed NIE and very long N28 number (upper right on the bill) And card details of course 😭. Took 5 minutes in total. 

Can I ask if anyone knows how I go about paying my IBI for my property. I tried the same link and selected IBI urbano, but it’s looking for a number I don’t have to allow me to proceed. (No. fiji del recibo).

We bought our property last year and this will be our first time paying this bill.

Sorry for all the queries just wanting to try to pay for everything I owe whilst I’m here.

Hi Roland have been following this post as we are due to come to Spain early September and our car is due for tax renewal. My question is do I have to have a current ITV  before I can tax the car as when we bought the car it was already ITV'd and taxed.

We drove to the ITV centre that morning to book a test and they took us straight away so I’m not sure if you need it before taxing. I don’t recall the online form for getting your tax bill asking me for details of ITV. but perhaps they can pick this up from an online database.

Thanks Danielle we will find an ITV place near to us when we arrive. 

with ref to the online form do you fill in the details without the fixed receipt number to get your bill to download? As you can tell this is the first time we have had to do this and trying to get as much info before we come over to make it easier hopefully

To get a copy of the tax due bill l just had to enter my NIE and car registration and there it was, ready to download and then print.

We live in El Reloj Fortuna, bought a car March 2019 in Orihuela, I went to pay tax at Fortuna townhall (although we have never recieved a bill) , the man said we need to pay in Orihuela? the green document says at I.2 Alicante as “lugar de expedition”

Can someone please help me find the correct place to pay

This link that Roland sent me doesn’t ask for the fixed receipt number so yes you just need your NIE number and car reg and select the tax u want to pay which is vehicle one and then your town. I think this link works for the Murcia region and if you are in Alicante region I think you through Suma. My first time too. It’s very complicated probably more so now due to Covid.  I’m still trying to pay my property tax but can’t get past the fixed receipt number whatever it is.
