Hello, we are thinking of buying a car to use when we are in San Pedro and also for our family and friends to use.
We were told originally that anyone over 30 would be allowed to drive the car with our permission but we have now been told that they will need to have an NI number, can anyone tell me which is correct please?

I would talk to a good broker such as Liberty Seguros, who could also give you a heads-up on premiums for classes of vehicle. Ours covers anyone over 25, with no mention of an NIE. Beware the man in the corner of the bar who knows all.....

There is a form on the N332 web site , to copy fill out and keep in car, NIE or Passport number is required and all your details, it is down to your insurance company as to how old the drivers need to be , ours is 25.
