Places open in January

Well, as in most places in northern hemispshere during the winter months, January is possibly the coldest month of the year but even so, we can get some sun and sheltered places where the sun is shining can be warm enough to sunbathe in. All the restaurants that didn't close back in November will still be open in January but the beach chiringuitos and ice cream places will be closed but there are still plenty of places to eat and drink in. Many permanent residents find that the winter months are often preferable to the summer months as the town is not overcrowded with the enormous influx of summer visitors.
