We have just been informed our ferry for June 9th has been cancelled, we have to get home for personal reasons.We are thinking of driving to get the Shuttle.Does anyone know if we will be able to stay anywhere in France on the way back ? Any ideas anyone.

Our ferry has also been cancelled for the third time! We have been expecting another cancellation so have already made provisional arrangements. We are thinking of doing the trip over 3 days, the first night in Girona (433 miles). Second night in Bourges (438 miles) and the last night in Coquelles (Calais 333 miles). We would then get a morning train to England. The hotels all seem to be open but it worries me how seriously they are taking the sterilisation of the rooms between guests. Hope this gives you some ideas.

A few weeks ago my friends made it back that way and booked hotels for 3 stops along the way with no problems although they had to eat in their rooms as no restaurants open...but there might be by now...good luck

Thanks for reply.Do you happen to know what sort of hotels they were eg. truck stops.
