Hi Mark
Yes, we were over for a week in January and our electricity (house all electric) was 102 euros. I think I need to change the contract to a cheaper rate.

Hi Tracey
Thanks for your response
We haven't been in the property and have been charged an extortionate amount of money ,
we are with Iberdrola for electricity but are having major problems trying to speak to anyone
regarding this , do you deal with the same company
regards
Mark and Lynda

Yes we are with Iberdrola too. I am going to register online and then get a new contract, but I need my NIE number to register. We have just had smart metres installed too.
It just seems so high as I have a 4 bed home in the UK and I pay £120 per month for gas and electricity combined
A small town house in Spain
The water bills seem to be every Two months.
However we moved in last October 2018, and got our first bill end of January 2019.
We visited the main office, and they told us do not worry, bills are not regular, but they will arrive .
Just make sure you have a D/D with your bank, set up for the water bill payments, and you will be ok..

Sorry cannot remember name of road, but the office is in Mazarron, just of the main road , up a side road, roughly opposite the BP petrol station.
Just ask any one in the main road for AQUALIA, as we did, and they directed us.
Failing that, Sat Nav AQUALIA, Mazarron.
Hope this helps.

Hi
Electricity charges in Spain are very expensive, it is always main news how dear electricity is, as a small reducer, change all bulbs to LED, turn of unused appliances,
When you study the bill they send you, the make up of charges is amazing, plus tax.
Same as water charges, can also be expensive, tip given to me was turn of all in the property, then look at the main meter, if it is still moving, you have a water leak, as many properties do.
The water pressure in Spain is very high, and leaks occur in the pipes very often, some times unnoticed for a long time.
It is advisable to fit a pressure reducing valve in the main line.

Sdb137 has it spot on, water and electricity in Spain is expensive. A small, undetected water leak cost us 700+ euros over a 4 month periodontal top of our normal bill. When we queried two bills we were told to check for leaks on our property and to check that neighbours hadn’t rapped into our supply, a common occurrence if property not occupied permanently.
