Hi Sandra and DAVE

There is plenty to do around San Pedro. Depends what you like to do in your leisure time; go onto www.adaptsanpedro.com.  If you don't want to get involved with any clubs or don't fancy doing much there are a lot of restaurants and of course the lovely beach.  If you have a car well so much to see.  Traditional little white villages further down the coast.

Are you going to permanently retire there.  If so, there is a very new hospital close by on the edge of town so no need to go up the auto strasse to Torrevieja.  There is a good sized shopping /commercial centre Dos Mares and opening up soon will be Los Saez nearby.  There is a street market on a Thursday for a nice wander and stop for a coffee.  Also just along the sea front at Santiago you can get a ferry over to La Manga (market there on a Sunday).  There is, as I understand it, the lovely Cities of Murcia and Cartagena.

I'm looking forward to exploring; how about you?

Regards.  Margaret

Oh have fun Sandra.  You'll be speaking Spanish before you know it and you will soon integrate  and have some new found friends.

Regards.  Margaret
