Hi, I am struggling to connect the gas regulator to my heater. It clicks into position when pushed on but the collar does not lock. Causing it to be lifted off. Can anyone suggest how to overcome this. ( I have tried with a new regulator and have the same problem.). Thanks Mike.

HI Mike, I sometimes get this happening. I found that:
• if you hold the ring up, with pressure against the spring,
• and keep it like that until the regulator is fully down as far as possible,
• then release the collar,
it engages OK.
Try it and see if that works.

Cheers Stephen. Had tried that several times with no result. However when my friend tried it obviously it worked. Have tried it on and off and now working ok. ( doesn't make sense!!).
