There haven't been any changes to the rules already set out. What were you hoping had changed?

I’m hoping that there will be an agreement by the Spanish government that we can stay for more 180 days a year!!

Not going to happen. Brexit was a act of self-damage and will continue to cause harm to people for years to come!

You can stay for more than 180 days but only when you become resident - just like the citizens of nearly all other non-EU countries. It is "make your mind up" time.
