Dear All
I always seem to have a problem paying my car tax online. I go onto the website https://agenciatributaria.carm.es then click on Oficina virtual then tributes locales and next duplicator de recibos and enter my details. For NIF number I input my NIE, and for Matricula I enter the car registration.I then get a message saying no debt for these parameters? Is car tax not due in April and am I doing something wrong?

Well mine is paid by direct debit and has not yet been paid either, so they're probably not ready for issue yet. Why don't you just set up a direct debit and then you can forget about it?

Thanks, I tried to do this a few years ago in the town hall but they didn’t speak English and I haven’t enough Spanish to explain. Last year I was able to find my bill online but can’t get one this year

We are just vack from Lo Pagan. Needed itv done and car tax. Went to town Hall but the tax us now done in the square at San pedro. There is a church, lots of coffee shops and banks. The building is beside the caxia bank. Go in and they will ask you for nie number and car registration. Then they give you an invoice. Take to any ATM and pay with your card. You scan invoice at the ATM. A lot easier this time. The guy in the office speaks English
I will be setting mine d/d fir next time. X

Thanks went a walk up this morning and saw the office think you need an appointment so will make one and go up. Will try to get a direct debit set up with them in case I’m not out next April/ May. Many thanks

They say that you do need an apointment but when I went in to make one, the guy on the first desk called me over and did it there and then.

This is a disgrace. We walked in giy spoke dome English and asked us nie number amd car registration. Looked it up priented it out, took to ATM at bank and scanned it . Paid with our bank card. Done in minutes.
That was last week our friend did hus ladt Friday the same way.
So frustrating.
