Hi all, I just bought a new matress and need to dispose of the old one. There are a row of bins outside the property, where I have often seen locals dumping large items, but wasn’t sure if this was ok. Is there an official way of disposing of large items? Thanks all.

If the mattress is still usable, then offer it to one of the local charity shops. They might have a collection service. In the case of wanting to dump it somewhere instead, take it to the EcoParque (local recycling centre) which is located next to the ITV centre in San Pedro del Pinatar.

If you don't have the transport to go to the ecopark it is quite legal to put it next to the bins but call the town hall tell them you wish to dispose of this ask them which Is the correct day for their collection
