Hi all, I have a property I San Pedro which we use during the summer months. Due to a muck-up (big time) at the bank my account has been frozen until I can get there in person. we are hoping to be there end of August (isolation conditions allowing) and have been informed by the person looking after the house that the water has been turned off. tried everything this end - telephoned/email etc. Anyone know the easiest and quickest way I can get this done so we have water when we get there?? regards

RonB,

You didn’t say if the water was turned off due to non payment of the bill because of the bank mixup but in case it wasn’t I’ll share an experience we had which may help....and it might not.

Once when we arrived at our house the water was off.....eventually we worked out it had been turned off at the road by the water company, increased water consumption alerted the water company to a leak. The water company left a note and sent a letter to our Spanish address which we didn't get until we were there....good luck with getting it sorted.

our supplier is Aqualia. Apparently only my home has had the water turned off. We are hoping to travel out end of August and need to ensure it is turned back on.

Set up online access to your aqualia account pay the outstanding bill if have not done that already.

You can pay by card online.

Then try & get reconnected.

The easiest way would be to pass the whole problem to your solicitor to sort out if you have one.
