Hi, arriving in October and need furnishings and electrical goods for inside and outside of my apartment. Any current recommendations in the San Pedro area very welcome, thank you all

We do have a fair selection of furniture and fitting shops around the area. There's a huge new shop called "Idea" for fittings and accessories in the Pinatar Park shopping complex. There's also a bed shop there and a furniture shop. Along the main N332 road out of the town, there are various sofa and furniture warehouses. If you can't be bothered wandering around shops, an easier option is to order what you want online from Ikea and get the whole lot delivered to your door at a time that suits you.

Hi Mags44, thank you. IKEA is our favoured option thanks, I guess it's just electrical items we can get local, maybe Carrefour? Thanks again.

Carrefour dos mares is a great one stop shop - we went there recently and bought TV, iron, hairdryer, toaster, kettle etc, all in one trip.

There's a good modern local furniture shop on Calle Aguilar Amat in Santiago De La Ribera
There are several big furniture stores ( like DFS ) on entrance to San Javier on N322 both side of road
Time4change in Los Alcazares do second hand furniture too
