We have had internet provided by a Avatel since March with no problems. However for last week it does not provide enough signal to power our IPTV box. We have contact the rep & messaged through website & messenger and had no joy getting an engineer out - has anyone else had the same issue and have you managed to get it resolved?

Has your internet issue been resolved?
When we arrived on Fed 24th our Fiber service wasn’t working, it took a couple of visits to their office, a few phone calls and an engineer to call out twice but it was working when we left on March 6th.....all being well we’re back there on Sept 5th and 🤞it’s working......I’m still trying to get a refund for the period it wasn’t working, the problem is I don’t know how long it was out of action and Avatel don’t think I should be reimbursed for the 5 days I know it was out of action from Feb 24th until fixed....🤔

Hi as yet we have had no joy. We phone up (a few times now) they take our details and say someone will call us back - and hey presto - they don’t. The internet is working for all other uses just not the IPTV box although it did for 5 months. We are getting the TV box guy out tomorrow to see if he can put onto another server in the hope this solves the problem. If not I will camp out at Avatel’s shop until they arrange an engineer to call......very frustrating indeed

"I will camp out at Avatel’s shop " take a big tent, enough food for a few days (you can always top-up at Mercadona) and watch out for unmasked folk nearby, and masked or unmasked robbers after your watch/phone/wallet.
Sadly there is no way you can avoid the robbers inside the shop, who will keep taking your money whilst offering about the worst service I have ever encountered.
