Hi all I live in Santiago de la Ribera and I'm thinking about taking a trip to Granada, Spain ( one way ) in September with 5 other people, 3 suitcases and 6 small cabin bags. does anybody know the easiest way to get there, keeping in mind that one of the persons is almost 90 years old and uses a wheelchair, but can walk a little, thankyou in advance.

                                                                                                    Regards, Derek

If you use google maps, enter Santiago De la Ribera and then press 'directions' and add Granada, press the train/ bus symbol, it will give you a route.

It shows a 9 hour trip by bus, basically from SdlR to Cartagena to Murcia, Lorca then Granada.

Alternatively, you could fly from Alicante to Granada via Madrid for approx. €100 per person.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info RichT. I looked at the flights, was looking for something a bit cheaper. Train and buses ok for me but not the old girl. I was thinking more on the lines of hired minibus with driver. I thank you anyway

Sorry to but in your convo, that’s really helpful to me, I didn’t know could do that on google maps. I maybe won’t have to wander around not knowing where to get bus and what number,  spend half my life waiting at bus stops.

Cheers
