Does anyone have an answer to;

We have to return to the UK within the next few weeks for various reasons and already know that we can get our first appointment for Coronavirus vaccination whilst there.
Can we then return and have our second vaccination in Spain or do we have to go back to the UK again for the second?

In which country are you registered for health-care?

Currently, only the UK but from what I have been reading that is no longer an issue as we have been able to register online here in Spain using only our address and proof of residency application (which ha s been in process for several months.

Well if you have been able to register with a local health-centre, then you just have to wait to be called.

My gut feeling would be no, you cannot have a vaccine in one country and the second in another - my rational for this view is that the vaccine passport which I believe will come into effect is managed individually by each country and I doubt that the IT infrastructure is/will be developed to follow ‘people’ around the continent.
The aim of the vaccine and the purpose of the vaccine passport is about minimising the spread of Covid as evidenced when you need to prove full vaccination, -ive PCR test or recovering from the virus.....I know of people, my partner included who is returning to the UK for his second shot.

But if you find out that you can get a shot in 2 different countries and have this recorded on your vaccine passport please share here.

I agree with Anni that both vaccinations should be done in the same country unless you are informed otherwise.

Thanks all. It’s what I thought and makes sense.

Got my first vaccination today and have been given an appointment for the 1st June for the second however the paperwork says Moderna and I cannot find it on a map. Is it a town or a venue?

Any help received with thanks

I have yet another question.
after my vaccination this morning I asked what vaccine I had been given and where I could find a record of it in case I need to tell someone in authority I have had the vaccine but could not get anything more than a shrug unfortunately.
Does anyone have this information please? I thought I had a link but cannot get past having to be a health care professional which I am not.
cheers

Ray
