Hi Anni
many thanks for posting this , very helpful.
In the murciatoday.com English translation:-
(During the lockdown THERE WERE NO problems for those picking up and dropping off at the airports providing documentation could be shown proving there was a valid reason for going to the airport).
Is it ‘there won’t be no problems” Or words to that effect, rather than the stated “there were no”
Is it just a translation issue ?
Any help much appreciated.
Regards,
Richard & Tracy

Hi Richard,
I imagine it should read 'no problems...' especially when clarified further by stating as long as you can provide proof....
I'll ask my friends and come back to you but perhaps in the meantime someone else knows what is allowed re pickup and drop off..... hope it doesn't spoil your travel plans.

Looking at the article in the "La Verdad" Murcian newspaper which Anni gave the link to, there is a list of exceptions and one of them states: the return to the place of habitual or family residence.
Therefore, if your HOME is elsewhere, there should be no problem in travelling there. If you are a Spanish resident it may not be so clear cut. As you say, "Murcia Today" website states: During the lockdown there were no problems ..... etc. More info should be forthcoming shortly. I find Murcia Today website keep their information very current so probably worth keeping an eye on it.
Also, this is a fantastic source of info in English:
https://www.facebook.com/DrivingSpain
Often called the N332 forum (I believe, or is that something else?) it has up to the minute information.
