PCR/test for return flights, San Javier region

Someone posted that tests are available at the Centre Medico, Virgin de la Caridad, San Javier...I think the telephone number is 968191800 ..it is opposite the Spar supermarket in SJ......will be checking it out myself for a flight in 3 weeks time.

My friends had their test there yesterday got their cert today and are driving to France today. They say it was quick and simple.

As an update, we booked our lateral flow tests for July 2nd today. We were one of 5 or 6 English couples either booking or getting tests today. 
The set up in the medical centre was very good, one receptionist dedicated to booking people in for tests, she spoke good English and once she had the date of travel she suggested an appointment date and time…..and the tests are paid for when taken so if your plans change between now and then you haven’t paid for something you won’t use.

I have to commend the staff in sorting us anxious travellers out…….but not the couple who moaned about having to pay €30 for a test, mentioned how much more expensive it is in Murcia….I was tempted to point out that it’s the UK that requires the test not the Spanish who are providing it in a timely manner at a very reasonably priced €30……can’t make all of the people happy.

I did post an update on the 21st to my original post but perhaps you are asking for an update after I have my test and how it goes when I travel through Alicante airport and into the UK….I will post an update on the 6th or 7th to let you know how we get on.

Yes we used this place too. Made an appointment but on the day had to wait over an hour just to get to the receptionist! But this was a Monday morning, post the weekend so best avoided if possible. Tests were efficient and results fast. PCR was €120

We booked also at Centre Medico, Virgin de la Caridad, San Javier, but you need to book in early as appointments get booked up £30 for test with certificate to fly home to Uk. We booked in 10 days advance.
