TIE updated information

Being a little lazy I was waiting for a telephone call to collect my TIE which I applied for in February and was told it would be ready in 6 weeks and they would call. As I had heard nothing I decided to go on line to check if it was ready and book an appointment, I did this late on Tuesday night and have a very large choice of appointments the next day (yesterday) I chose 10.45 was in and out withing 15mins card in hand.

However one thing I was told while there is that they are having problems with sending emails to people with Hotmail accounts so if you have been waiting a long time of if you are using an advisor, perhaps you should make enquiries via this link.

• Application for temporary residence authorization for family reunification

It may also present extensions of stays as well as renewals. Among others the following:

1. Extension of Authorization of Stay for Studies.
2. Long Term Residence Authorization Application for a general course of 5 years of continuous residence in Spain. (Not independent).

4. Renewal of Non-Profit Residence Authorizations.
5. Renewal of Residence Authorization for Family Reunification.
6. Renewal of Residence Authorization with exception to the work authorization.
7. Modifications of the residence situation due to exceptional circumstances for reasons of attachment to the residence and work authorization.
8. Modification of the Authorization of Stay for Studies, Student Mobility, Non-labor Practices or volunteer services to Authorization of Residence and Work or Residence with Exception to the authorization of work.
9. EU CITIZEN FAMILY MEMBER PERMANENT RESIDENCE CARD.
